Job summary

RLI Insurance Company in Dallas is seeking an experienced Management Liability underwriter to grow a profitable portfolio through disciplined underwriting and strong broker relationships. You will independently evaluate complex risks, make timely decisions, and contribute to the Wholesale Division's growth and profitability.

The role requires 5+ years of commercial underwriting experience in Management Liability, a bachelor's degree, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, quote, bind, and manage new and renewal Management Liability submissions within underwriting authority.
• Build trusted relationships with Wholesale Brokers through responsive communication and underwriting decisions.
• Evaluate financial, operational, legal, and management exposures to determine acceptable risks.
• Produce accurate, well-documented underwriting files and pricing rationale.
• Prioritize new business, renewals, and responsibilities to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with internal partners to support profitable growth and process improvement
