We are seeking an experienced Senior Underwriter to support our new Life Science product launch. This role involves developing and executing underwriting strategies, managing broker relationships, and leading a team to ensure profitable growth within the Life Science industry.

Location: Open to candidates in Atlanta, GA; Philadelphia, PA; New York City, NY; and Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:

• Drive product development, strategy, and growth for Life Science insurance solutions.
• Manage and mentor a team of underwriters.
• Develop distribution strategies and cultivate broker relationships.
• Develop and implement underwriting strategies and monitor portfolio performance.
• Underwrite, market, and retain profitable business, operating within authority limits.
• Collaborate across teams and represent Munich Re at industry events.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience with Life Science products, underwriting processes, and industry trends.
• Experience managing a P&L and leading underwriters.
• Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
