Liberty Mutual is seeking an Inland Marine Underwriter to develop and maintain a diversified Inland Marine book of business while collaborating with agents and brokers to assess risks, set premiums, and negotiate favorable terms. The role demands strong analytics and sound judgment across states and regulatory landscapes.

The ideal candidate will balance quantitative analysis with human intuition, possess advanced underwriting skills, and mentor junior underwriters within a collaborative team

• Intermediate-level knowledge of insurance products/coverage, market segments and marketplace; insurance finance concepts and reinsurance.

The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
