Job summary
Blue Sky Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electric, a 4th generation family-owned business in the Denver area, seeks an experienced excavation/underground utility technician. You will inspect, diagnose, and repair underground systems, plan sewer/water line projects, and operate excavators safely.

Qualifications
- Experience operating/handling mini excavators, skid steers, trench shields, and shoring.
- Mechanically minded with ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Valid driver's license; CDL a plus.
- Experience installing residential/light commercial underground drain and water systems.
- OSHA 10 and Trenching & Shoring certifications.
- 3–5+ years excavation experience.
- Willingness to learn liner installation.
Responsibilities
- Inspect underground utility systems to identify defects, leaks, and damage.
- Diagnose issues from inspections and develop repair strategies.
- Perform repairs, replacements, or maintenance on underground lines.
- Plan sewer/water line replacement projects and supervise excavation.
- Operate excavation equipment safely and maintain equipment.
- Maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
- Keep detailed records of inspections and work.
