Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound scans on neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Performs procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. For the Breast Center: Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound scans on breast tissue. Performs procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist.

Required Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree, or a two-year technical program, or equivalent education/experience.
  • OR a combination of education and directly related work experience.
  • Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program (for Imaging Department).
  • National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (upon hire).
  • National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
Preferred Qualifications
  • For the Breast Center: Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
  • ARDMS certification in Abdomen and OB (for Imaging Department) upon hire.
  • Prior ultrasound experience.
