Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a UI/UX Web Developer to leverage SharePoint and related web tools to rapidly prototype integrated applications for government clients. You will design user-centered interfaces, conduct usability testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, responsive solutions.

The role requires strong frontend skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and experience with SharePoint, 508 compliance, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree and 8 years of experience.
TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required.
Experience with ITIL, high availability, and enterprise infrastructure.
SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, SSRS Report Designer experience.
Knowledge of PHP applications (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal).
Experience with 508 compliance.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Experience with SharePoint migrations.
Website design experience.
Develops and implements innovative products, processes, standards or operational plans achieved through research and integration of best practices that will have impact on the achievement of functional results of a project or system.
Experience communicating with executive leadership.
Proficiency in UI/UX tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
Experience with user-centered design processes and usability testing.
Must remain on the client site during Program core hours of 0900-1500.
Experience using ServiceNow Agile or SAFE capabilities.
Experience using programming languages including Python, PHP, Java, and Bash.
Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
Experience with knowledge management, taxonomy, folksonomy.
Experience creating and/or managing web governance, policies, and procedures.
Experience developing PHP front-end applications and applets.
Knowledge of developing Azure or AWS cloud environments.
Experience with SQL and MySQL.
Portfolio of UI/UX design work showcasing a variety of projects and design skills.

Responsibilities

Develop SharePoint from OOTB to custom applications and UX/UI across multiple versions.
Design intuitive UI/UX for web applications aligned with business goals.
Conduct user research and usability testing to iterate designs.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for stakeholder approval.
Integrate data sources to provide dashboards for senior management and government clients.
Work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Create secure applications respecting security guidelines.
Use DevOps tools including version control systems.
Lead with software testing, documentation, and training.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers for cohesive delivery.
Ensure web apps are responsive across devices and browsers.
Adhere to WCAG guidelines for 508 compliance.
