Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a UI/UX Web Developer to leverage SharePoint and related web tools to rapidly prototype integrated applications for government clients. You will design user-centered interfaces, conduct usability testing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, responsive solutions.

The role requires strong frontend skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and experience with SharePoint, 508 compliance, and cloud environments.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree and 8 years of experience.
• TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance is required.
• Experience with ITIL, high availability, and enterprise infrastructure.
• SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, SSRS Report Designer experience.
• Knowledge of PHP applications (WordPress, Joomla, Drupal).
• Experience with 508 compliance.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with SharePoint migrations.
• Website design experience.
• Develops and implements innovative products, processes, standards or operational plans achieved through research and integration of best practices that will have impact on the achievement of functional results of a project or system.
• Experience communicating with executive leadership.
• Proficiency in UI/UX tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
• Strong understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
• Experience with user-centered design processes and usability testing.
• Must remain on the client site during Program core hours of 0900-1500.
• Experience using ServiceNow Agile or SAFE capabilities.
• Experience using programming languages including Python, PHP, Java, and Bash.
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience with knowledge management, taxonomy, folksonomy.

Insight Global is seeking a UI/UX Web Developer to use SharePoint's and other custom web development capabilities to provide rapid prototyping of integrated web applications. You’ll use a multitude of data source standards such as REST/OData/OAuth and employ your knowledge of SharePoint's, and other web development tools, security and information management capabilities across a variety of our customer’s development platforms and scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Develop SharePoint from OOTB to custom applications and UX/UI (2010, 2013, 2016, 2019, Online, O365) by maintaining large lists and libraries, permissions and site structures, custom workflows, and Microsoft best practices.
• Design and implement intuitive, user-centered UI/UX for web applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize design concepts and gather stakeholder approval.
• Integrate and develop multiple data sources to provide customized Dashboards for senior management and government clients.
• Work with programming languages and scripting methods including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Create secure applications systems utilizing IC or DoD security guidelines.
• Experience utilizing DevOps tools such as a version control system.
• Lead with software testing, documentation, and training.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and developers to ensure cohesive product delivery.
• Ensure web applications are responsive and provide an optimal viewing experience across various devices and browsers.
• Adhere to WCAG guidelines to ensure 508 compliance in all web development projects

Skills and Requirements

• BA/BS degree and 8 years of experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, 2 additional years of experience if AA/AS, or 4 additional years of experience with HS diploma.

• Experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Framework, high availability, and enterprise infrastructure.
