Job summary

Eightelevengroup seeks a Senior UI/UX Designer / Engineer for a 6-month contract in Nashville, TN. The role blends design leadership with front-end implementation in a hybrid, local-friendly setting.

You will shape mobile-first experiences, collaborate with marketing, engineering and data teams, and take designs from concept through to working code. The ideal candidate has senior UI/UX experience for Android apps, strong React or Angular skills, proficiency with Figma, and a track record

Qualifications

• Senior-level UI/UX experience for production products.
• Android mobile app design experience with shipped apps.
• Front-end development experience in React or Angular.
• Strong communication with marketing stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Figma for design and prototyping.
• Exposure to Snowflake and AWS, or experience with data-driven products (nice to have).
• Experience with design systems and web accessibility standards (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive, visually polished user interfaces and end-to-end user flows for Android and web experiences.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and design specifications; refine designs through feedback and usability testing.
• Build or collaborate on front-end implementation in React or Angular to ensure designs are accurately shipped.
• Partner with marketing teams to gather requirements, present concepts, and manage feedback and expectations.
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to ensure designs align with technical and data capabilities.
• Maintain design consistency across products through shared components and adherence to design standards.
