Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment’s PlayStation San Diego Studio is seeking a Senior UI Tools Programmer to join the team behind MLB - The Show. You will work on tools that empower UI design, content generation, and runtime interfaces, collaborating with designers, artists, and engineers to improve UI tooling quality.

The role requires strong C#/.NET skills, plus C++ experience, and a track record of shipping games on consoles.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of game industry programming experience.
• Expertise in C# and .NET; C++ experience a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing features for our proprietary UI Editor.
• Maintaining and improving other existing tools.
• Supporting fonts, localization pipeline and PC development.
• Providing technical support.
• Writing clear, maintainable, portable, and highly functional code.
• Following coding standards and best practices.
• Profiling and performance tuning to remove bottlenecks.
• Testing and debugging own code and others'.
