CEI is seeking a Senior UI Software Engineer for a hybrid role in Kissimmee, FL. You will develop high-traffic web commerce experiences with Angular on the front end, NestJS on the backend, and AWS cloud-native delivery in an Agile setting.

You should bring hands-on Angular and NestJS skills, AWS experience, and a track record of building scalable web apps. The position offers a 22-month contract with potential extension or conversion, and a competitive hourly rate.

Overview
We are seeking a Senior UI Software Engineer to build and enhance web commerce experiences for a large, high-traffic consumer platform. This role focuses on modern front-end development with Angular, backend services using NestJS, and cloud-native delivery on AWS in an agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement scalable UI-focused software components and services
• Build and enhance web applications using Angular and NestJS
• Develop and deploy solutions on AWS, supporting cloud-native patterns
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform debugging and defect resolution
• Collaborate with product and QA partners to refine requirements and ensure quality
• Contribute to component-level architecture and continuous improvement initiatives
• Stay current with emerging tools and practices relevant to modern web engineering

Required Skills

Education

• Interest in learning emerging data engineering tools and methodologies
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment with periodic onsite presence
