Job summary

Addepar is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Client Experience Frameworks group. You will build framework-agnostic UI components and own the UI platform used across products.

You will drive adoption of the design system, improve developer experience with tooling and docs, and ensure accessible, high-quality code across multiple frontend frameworks. This role emphasizes long-term scalability and teamwork.

Qualifications

• BS/MS/PhD in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of professional software engineering experience.
• Solid TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals.
• Experience with at least one modern UI framework.
• Familiar with web standards and browser APIs.
• Exposure to build tools and bundlers like Webpack or Vite.
• Strong communication and code-review skills.

Responsibilities

• Build framework-agnostic UI components used by multiple frontend teams.
• Help adopt the design system across product engineering groups.
• Contribute to developer experience via tooling, testing, and docs.
• Write clean, reusable component code with maintainability in mind.
• Learn multiple front-end frameworks and their relation to web standards.
