Job summary

Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to build across tools, pipelines, and runtime tech using AI-assisted development workflows, initially focused on runtime user interface framework technology. You will collaborate with engineers across our game teams and central technology, helping shape the future of UI technology at EA.

You will report to an Engine Development Leader and have opportunities to grow ownership across the Frostbite engine, contributing to large-scale migrations

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C++ and UI framework/tool development.
• Experience applying AI-assisted development tools.
• Experience with large-scale migrations or modernization.

Responsibilities

• Develop UI framework technology within Frostbite and contribute to tools across the engine.
• Participate in large-scale migrations and modernization efforts.
• Apply AI-assisted tools to improve design, implementation, testing, and debugging workflows.
• Collaborate with game teams to translate requirements into engine/UI improvements.
• Own technical challenges from design through delivery as priorities evolve.
• Communicate progress and insights across the engineering organization.
