Job summary

Akkodis seeks a Senior UI Designer to shape the visual and interactive expression of digital experiences across web, mobile, and other customer-facing platforms. You will take concepts through polished UI ready for development and collaborate with product designers, UX researchers, engineers, and other partners to bring work to life.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in UI/visual/interaction design, a strong portfolio, and deep Figma expertise (components, auto layout, prototyping).

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional UI/visual/interaction or product design.
• Strong portfolio across digital products and experiences.
• Proficiency in Figma with components and auto layout.
• Expertise in typography, layout, color, spacing, and responsive design.
• Experience collaborating with UX, product, and software engineers.
• Ability to translate concepts to development-ready designs.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Independent work style with ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality user interfaces for digital products across web, mobile, and responsive experiences.
• Translate product requirements, user flows, wireframes, and concepts into polished UI.
• Explore and communicate visual and interaction concepts through mockups and prototypes.
• Apply fundamentals in typography, layout, hierarchy, color, spacing, imagery, and interaction design.
• Design experiences cohesive across screens, flows, devices, and touchpoints.
• Collaborate with UX and product designers to strengthen concepts through visuals.
• Work with engineers to ensure designs are practical and implementable.
• Prepare detailed, development-ready designs with clear specs and states.
• Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify opportunities to simplify or modernize existing experiences.
• Evolve brand/UI foundations across digital products.
• Use prototyping and AI-enabled workflows to accelerate iteration.
