Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Commercial & Investment Bank - Digital and Platform Services team. You will contribute as a seasoned member of an agile team, designing and delivering trusted, scalable technology products in a secure environment.

You will apply expertise across SDLC, participate in automation, testing, and architect complex solutions to support the firm’s business objectives, while promoting secure coding practices and collaboration across engineering

Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering and 3+ years of applied experience.
Experience with system design, application development, testing and operational stability.
Experience coding in modern languages and database querying in a large corporate environment.
Web UI and API test automation experience.
Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools with critical output validation.

Responsibilities

Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with non-routine problem solving.
Develops secure, high-quality production code and maintains algorithms.
Maintains alignment with SDLC and enterprise standards.
Uses AI-assisted tools to improve code quality, speed, and productivity with peer review.
Produces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
Contributes to engineering communities of practice.
Develops data visualizations and reporting for continuous improvement.
Identifies hidden data patterns to improve coding hygiene and architecture.
Contributes to team culture of diversity and inclusion.
