Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Software Engineer III to join the Digital and Platform Services team within the Commercial & Investment Bank.

You will design and deliver trusted, scalable technology products in a secure environment and contribute across multiple domains, with a focus on automation, data insights, and robust software practices. Qualifications

Formal training or certification in software engineering and practical experience.
Hands-on work in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
Experience in large corporate environments with modern languages and test automation.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools and evaluation of outputs for correctness.
Proficiency in multiple programming languages including Java and Python.
Understanding of secure coding, data sensitivity, and resiliency requirements.
Knowledge of SDLC and agile methodologies (CI/CD, security).

Responsibilities

Execute software solutions, design, develop, and troubleshoot beyond routine approaches.
Create secure, high-quality production code and maintain relevant algorithms.
Leverage enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity; ensure peer review and testing.
Use SDLC tools to enhance automation and delivery.
Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure constraints are met.
Contribute to communities of practice on new technologies.
Analyze large data sets to visualize and report for continuous improvement.
Identify hidden data patterns to drive coding hygiene and system improvements.
Support team culture of diversity, inclusion, and respect.
