Proven Recruiting is seeking a Senior Tax Associate to work with ultra-high-net-worth clients in a hybrid role in Encino, CA or remotely within California. You will handle tax returns for individuals, trusts, partnerships, and closely held businesses, focusing on UHNW matters and planning strategies.

This role offers a non-billable hours environment, no business development duties, and a reasonable busy season. A CPA or EA is preferred, with 3+ years of tax experience in public accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or adjacent field.
• 3+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Extensive experience supporting ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients.
• Experience preparing individual, trust, partnership, S-Corp, and other closely held business tax returns.
• CPA, EA, or actively pursuing professional certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns for ultra-high-net-worth individuals, trusts, and closely held businesses
• Develop tax projections, quarterly estimates, and planning analyses for clients
• Research complex tax issues and communicate recommendations to clients and internal advisors
• Partner with wealth management professionals to deliver a high-touch client experience
