Job summary

Leidos is seeking a highly skilled Senior Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) Engineer to support the Defense Enclave Services (DES) program, focusing on modern endpoint management with Microsoft Intune and cloud-native solutions.

You will migrate legacy MECM and on-prem AD to Azure AD–joined, Intune-managed endpoints, collaborating across engineering, security, and operations to deliver secure, scalable enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 4+ years of relevant experience, or Master’s with 2+ years (or equivalent)
• Active DoD Secret clearance
• Experience implementing and administering Microsoft Intune
• Hands-on experience packaging, testing, and deploying Windows apps with Intune
• Strong PowerShell scripting for automation
• Experience collaborating with customers and stakeholders
• Familiarity with Jira/Confluence for project tracking

Responsibilities

• Lead design, architecture, and deployment of Microsoft Intune solutions
• Drive endpoint modernization migrating MECM/AD devices to Azure AD–joined and Intune-managed endpoints
• Develop and manage Intune policies, configurations, and deployment strategies
• Package, deploy, and lifecycle-manage apps in Intune with automation
• Architect Windows provisioning/deployment using Intune, Autopilot, ESP
• Configure Windows Update for Business for secure OS patching
• Collaborate with AD/MECM teams on coexistence and migration readiness
• Integrate Intune with Microsoft 365 ecosystem and security models
• Implement endpoint security best practices and DLP controls
• Support security ops by monitoring endpoint incidents and telemetry
• Develop technical docs and migration strategies
