Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician for Prime Air in Mount Juliet, TN. This role focuses on keeping drone and related machinery in safe, airworthy condition and coordinating with engineering, operations, and other Prime Air teams to fulfill maintenance objectives.

The candidate will train and mentor Repair Technicians, manage parts and inventory, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and Prime Air directives. Ability to work various shifts and travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience.
• Experience guiding, training and mentoring others.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.).
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Own fleet performance metrics.
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Train and mentor other Repair Technicians.
• Assign shift roster and oversee Repair Technicians.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals.
