Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a Senior UAT Tester in McLean, Virginia for a contract engagement. The UAT Liaison will bridge business stakeholders, end users, and technical teams to ensure solutions meet requirements and are production-ready.

The role involves planning and executing UAT activities, facilitating defect triage, and guiding users through test cases, with a focus on clear communication and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT) and QA within software projects.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and testing methodologies.
• Ability to create UAT test plans, cases, and scripts from business requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as central liaison among business users, PMs, QA, and developers during UAT cycles.
• Translate business requirements into UAT scenarios and tests.
• Develop and maintain UAT test plans, cases, and scripts.
• Coordinate UAT schedules and resource planning.
• Facilitate UAT kick-offs and status meetings; track progress.
