Job summary

Acuren is seeking a senior UAS Pilot III to support aerial inspections in Cincinnati, OH. You will lead advanced missions, manage UAS operations in complex environments, and mentor junior pilots, ensuring inspection integrity and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have strong GO 95/ GO 165 knowledge, FAA Part 107 operations, and extensive utility inspection experience. Relocation assistance is available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UAS operation experience in infrastructure inspection.
• Valid FAA Part 107 remote pilot certificate.
• Experience flying UAS in challenging field conditions near energized lines.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex inspection missions including transmission corridors and substations.
• Pilot UAS platforms and payloads, BVLOS options as allowed.
• Perform pre-flight inspections and ensure operational readiness.
• Capture high-quality data for tower and line inspections.
• Process data and deliver inspection reports to engineers.
• Maintain flight logs and coordinate with field teams.
