Job summary

KBR is seeking a Manager, U.S. Tax Compliance to lead the U.S. direct and indirect tax functions for the Trinzic spin-off. The role partners with accounting, FP&A, treasury, legal, and external advisors to ensure accurate filings and ongoing tax optimization.

Responsibilities include overseeing federal/state income tax compliance, indirect taxes, tax provisions, and audits, while building a high-performing tax team and driving process improvements across the tax function.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive corporate tax, public accounting, or related experience.
• Significant experience leading U.S. federal and state income tax compliance processes.
• Experience overseeing indirect tax compliance activities (sales and use tax, gross receipts tax).
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S. direct tax compliance, including corporate income tax returns and estimated tax payments.
• Oversee U.S. indirect tax compliance processes and timely filings.
• Manage annual compliance calendar and coordinate internal/external resources.
• Partner with Tax Accounting for quarterly/annual tax provision.
• Coordinate audits and tax examinations with external advisors.
