Job summary

King's Insurance Staffing is seeking an experienced TX workers' compensation claims professional to handle moderate to complex cases with minimal supervision. The role requires rigorous investigations, medical management, and guidance of litigation to influence outcomes.

You will negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys while maintaining excellent customer service and accurate reserving practices. A High School Diploma is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of workers' compensation claims handling experience.
• Well-versed in Texas Workers’ Compensation Law.
• Litigation experience required.
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle moderate to complex TX workers' compensation claims with minimal supervision.
• Conduct thorough investigations, manage medical treatment, influence early return-to-work, guide litigation and control claim outcomes.
• Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys.
• Active file management, effective reserving practices, participation in training activities, presentation of serious claims to committee and supervision of litigated files.
• Consistently exhibit a high level of customer service and adherence to department Best Practices.
