Job summary

Deer Country Farm & Lawn, Inc. is seeking a skilled Service Technician to independently diagnose, service and repair consumer and dealer turf equipment, including AMS products.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent experience required.
• Experience: 5+ years of professional experience performing service repairs.
• Skills: Ability to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment following technical manual procedures.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills; ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
• Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of turf equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on turf equipment and AMS products.
• Participates in service training programs to develop skills.
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintains vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
• Follows safety rules and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Completes reports and tasks; researches and requests parts as needed.
• Accounts for all time and materials used in assignments.
