Job summary

Radiant in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer, Turbomachinery (Rotordynamics) to lead design and analysis of high‑speed turbomachinery for power generation. You will perform rotordynamic analysis, bearing selection, and testing coordination for prototypes and production hardware.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in turbomachinery and tooling skills such as XLrotor or Dyrobes, with hands‑on testing experience and strong technical communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years in turbomachinery, rotating equipment, or mechanisms.
• Strong rotordynamics knowledge and bearing selection experience.
• Experience with rotordynamics tools like XLrotor or Dyrobes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test turbomachinery for power systems.
• Perform rotor-bearing dynamic analysis for vibration and resonance.
• Conduct critical speed, Campbell diagram, and stability analyses.
• Support prototype and production hardware testing.
