Responsibilities

• Perform turbomachinery design analyses including FEA and hand calculations.
• Select components and materials for turbomachinery.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams for proper design integration.

Skills

10-15 years turbomachinery or rotating machinery design experience

Excellent analytical skills

Problem-solving and decision-making skills

Fluid film bearing and gas bearing design experience

Programming skills in VB, C#, Python

Education

BSME or related technical degree

Advanced degree in turbomachinery

Tools

2D CAD

3D modeling and simulation

FEA software
