Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a highly qualified sanctions professional to support OFAC-related licensing and exception work in a TS/SCI environment in Washington, DC. The role involves reviewing requests, analyzing data across sanctions programs, and drafting responses for sensitive determinations.

The candidate should have a TS/SCI with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI, U.S. citizenship, and relevant experience in sanctions analytics and investigations. On-site work at client locations in DC is required.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance and TS/SCI upgrade requirement.
• US citizen required due to client engagements.
• Bachelor's degree or 4 years additional professional experience in lieu of Bachelor's.
• 5 years relevant experience including at least 1 year in sanctions-specific work.
• Ability to work full-time in an SCIF at a client site in Washington, DC.

Responsibilities

• Review requests for exceptions and authorizations to conduct transactions prohibited by OFAC sanctions.
• Review and analyze financial and business data in license/exception applications.
• Process older licensing cases to reduce backlog and improve service.
• Draft responses to exception requests, including license denials or guidance.
• Research complex financial and business activities to support sanctions programs.
• Review pre-publication requests for sensitive material.
• Prepare weekly meetings and progress reports for leadership.
