Job summary

Blue Sky Innovators, Inc. is seeking a senior program leader with TS/SCI/SAP eligibility to oversee major defense technology programs in the United States.

The role requires leadership across research, development and deployment efforts and significant cross-functional coordination. The position demands a decade of experience managing complex DoD programs, with deep knowledge of acquisition processes and rigorous communications with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years’ experience managing, planning, developing, and executing major research, engineering, and development efforts for defense organizations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in one of the listed engineering/science fields.
• Five (5) years’ experience leading and operating within highly classified environments, including SAP and SCI.
• Ten (10) years’ experience as a lead or deputy Program Manager for major technology programs (> $100M).
• Five (5) years’ experience with the DoD Acquisition System.

Responsibilities

• Lead or deputy lead for major technology programs exceeding $100M in value.
• Manage full lifecycle of technology design, manufacturing, integration and testing.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and brief senior stakeholders.
• Develop strategies for classified program environments and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with DoD program managers and R&E partners.
