Job summary

BCore in Chantilly, Virginia seeks a skilled Network Engineer to join a government-focused program. You will design, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure across LAN/WAN, data centers, and cloud services, with emphasis on security and reliability.

The role requires six years of experience, a Bachelor's (Master's preferred), and TS/SCI with Poly eligibility. You will work with Cisco IOS, SD-WAN, VPN, and virtualized environments to deliver mission-critical IT solutions.

Qualifications

• Six years of network engineering experience; Bachelor's required, Master's preferred.
• TCP/IP design and routing protocols experience.
• Upgrades and O&M of network systems.
• INFOSEC/COMSEC security requirements experience.
• CM techniques for managing network configurations.
• Experience with LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN and VoIP.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer network infrastructure for government programs.
• Support data center and cloud-based enterprise computing environments.
• Implement and manage security controls for networks.
• Configure Cisco IOS switches/routers; manage segment routing.
• Perform network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on delivery.
