Qualifications

• Active CA State Bar membership is required.
• Five to ten years of civil or trusts and estates litigation experience.
• Advanced law degree or specialization in practice area preferred.
• Experience supervising or mentoring Associate Attorneys preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements for contested trust and estate litigation.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Oversee contested trusts and estates cases, including fiduciary disputes and will contests.
• Supervise paralegals and support staff, ensuring accurate and timely filings.
• Advise clients on litigation strategy and dispute resolution options.
• Conduct research on statutes, case law, and tax rules.
• Appear in probate court for contested hearings and trials.
• Provide mentorship and training to Associates and staff.
