AJ Chambers US is partnering with a renowned law firm to recruit a Trusts & Estates Associate or Counsel for New York or Connecticut offices. The role focuses on domestic and international estate planning, estate administration, and tax compliance for high-net-worth clients.

The successful candidate will handle cross-border planning issues, advise on trusts and offshore structures, and work within a Private Client Services team that values mentorship and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of relevant experience in trusts and estates.
• Experience in domestic and international estate planning.
• Experience in estate and trust administration and estate and tax compliance.
• Experience gained within a law firm or an international tax practice at a major accounting firm.
• Exposure to cross border estate planning.
• Ability to identify and analyse international planning issues.
• Knowledge of tax principles affecting trusts, entities, offshore structures and investments.
• Strong organisational, verbal, analytical, writing and interpersonal skills.
