Orion Placement seeks an experienced trusts and estates attorney to advise high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and business owners across a multi-state platform. You will shape strategies, drafts, and administration while mentoring junior attorneys in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.

The role offers hybrid work options, cross-office collaboration in Greenwich, NYC, or Roseland, and potential for discretionary bonuses and origination opportunities.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• 8+ years of relevant trusts and estates experience.
• Admission in CT, NY or NJ; multi-state experience valued.
• Experience with sophisticated estate planning and trust administration.
• Knowledge of estate, gift, fiduciary, and income tax planning.
• Strong drafting, analytical and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise high-net-worth individuals, families, fiduciaries, and business owners on trusts and estates matters.
• Develop estate planning strategies including wills, trusts, and wealth transfer.
• Handle complex trust and estate administration from start to finish.
• Counsel on estate, gift, fiduciary, and income tax considerations.
• Draft sophisticated estate planning and trust documents tailored to client objectives.
• Collaborate with attorneys across the firm on related matters.
• Build and maintain trusted client relationships while delivering practical counsel.
• Support multi-state tax, trust, and estate planning matters.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to practice growth.
