CyberCoders is seeking an Attorney in New York City with 5+ years of experience in trust and estate planning and administration to join a respected law firm. The role offers the chance to work on sophisticated matters with a seasoned team.

You will assist in will and trust drafting, advise on estate planning and tax strategies, and represent clients in probate and trust administration, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New York State Bar.
• 5+ years of experience in Trust & Estates law, with a focus on estate planning, administration, and probate litigation.
• Experience in planning and drafting wills, revocable, irrevocable trusts, along with a basic understanding of gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer taxes.
• Strong knowledge of New York Trusts & Estates laws and procedures.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of wills, trusts, and related estate planning documents
• Advise clients on estate and tax planning strategies
• Represent clients in probate and trust administration matters
• Prepare and file court documents for probate and estate administration
• Handle trust and estate litigation, including contested probate matters
• Conduct legal research and analysis on complex trust and estate issues
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop tailored estate plans
• Manage client relationships and work independently while also working as part of a team

Education
