Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Trust & Estates Associate in Connecticut or New York to join a long-standing firm. The role requires a JD and CT or NY admission with at least four years of experience in trusts and estates, strong drafting and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple matters independently.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and bar admission in CT and/or NY.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a trust and estates associate attorney.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong client relationship skills.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives.
• Provide counsel on trust administration, probate, and estate tax matters.
• Develop estate planning strategies with clients.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on trust and estate law.
• Represent clients in probate court and handle related litigation.
• Coordinate with attorneys, tax professionals, and financial advisors.
• Participate in business development for the trusts and estates practice.
