Job summary

Devon Bank in Chicago seeks a Manager of Trust Operations to oversee daily operations of the Trust and Wealth Management Department, including recordkeeping, tax forms, and compliance. You will supervise staff, ensure accurate processing, and coordinate audits and reporting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years in Trust Operations or Wealth Advisory Administration, plus strong knowledge of FDIC regulations and accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Experience in Trust Operations or Wealth Advisory Administration.
• Strong knowledge of FDIC regulatory requirements, banking and accounting functions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; client service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Balance and reconcile GWES daily, monthly, yearly.
• Supervise posting of security trades, income processing, and capital structures.
• Reconcile assets with custodians, brokers, mutual funds, and DRP agents.
• Set up new accounts on GWES; oversee asset collection.
• Close accounts on GWES; oversee delivery of assets.
• Produce customer statements and tax forms (1099, 5498).
• Coordinate with external tax preparers for timely filings and K-1s.
