The ideal candidate has 4+ years of trust administration experience, leadership proven, and a background in financial services. Travel for business development may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of technical expertise in trust administration or related financial services.
• Leadership experience with coaching, mentoring, and education to others in the company.
• Spanish speaking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responds promptly to client distribution requests and makes cash and asset distributions.
• Understands needs of principals, income beneficiaries, and remaindermen.
• Maintains professionalism toward beneficiaries, financial advisors, and other professionals.
• Monitors trust tax returns.
• Complies with Trust Administration checklists for closing accounts and reviews.
• Completes annual account reviews as required by the South Dakota Division of Banking.
• Prepares presentations for Trust Committee review.
• Administers a complex book of personal trust accounts, including pooled trusts.
