Job summary

BTC Trust Company of South Dakota seeks a Trust Officer III to oversee daily administration and maintenance of upper-tier SD directed trusts, family offices, and fiduciary relationships for high-net-worth clients. The role requires strong business and legal acumen, leadership, and exceptional client service.

Responsibilities include document preparation, trust drafting, compliance, onboarding, and collaboration with clients and professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least 8 years of related experience.
• Strong preference for Private Client Services, Fiduciary Services, or Trust & Estate Planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages assigned client relationships.
• Proactively anticipates client needs and requests.
• Interacts with clients to answer requests, coordinating daily activities and escalating issues as needed.
• Completes special projects as assigned.
• Prepares materials for client and prospect presentations and meetings.
• Completes necessary documents relating to compliance and annual account reviews.
• Manages and coordinates new account onboarding.
• Meets sales and referral goals assigned.
• Reviews and follows up on sales activities.
• Collaborates with others to drive success of team, department, and organization.
• Shares and promotes new ideas to support process improvements.
• Serves as a backup to other team positions.
