Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) seeks a Trust Officer III to administer complex fiduciary accounts, including estates, trusts, and IRAs. Responsibilities include client communication, file maintenance, and regulatory compliance.

The role collaborates with Wealth Management to originate new business and maintain risk controls across accounts. Minimum five years in trust services and strong knowledge of fiduciary law are preferred.

Qualifications

• J.D., CTFA, CFP®, MBA, Bachelor’s degree, or related professional experience.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Analyze agreements and legal documents to determine purpose, capacity, and requirements for each account.
• Communicate with clients and maintain well documented files.
• Perform annual administrative reviews and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Hire and supervise personnel; coordinate with Wealth Management and trust professionals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with professionals to generate new business.
