Job summary

Lido Advisors, LLC is seeking a Senior Trust Officer based in Reno to provide strategic direction and leadership for Enterprise Trust in Nevada. The role focuses on growing the Nevada trust business, expanding client relationships, and ensuring fiduciary excellence across all accounts.

The candidate will oversee day-to-day trust administration, ensure regulatory compliance, and serve as a trusted partner to management, staff, and clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of trust administration experience, including management.
  • CTFA designation preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of living trusts, testamentary trusts, charitable remainder trusts, estate administration, and IRA accounts.
  • Experience managing trust-owned real estate, investment management, and trust operations/securities processing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database management systems.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, professional advisors, and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Administer trusts in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, fiduciary standards, and governing instruments.
  • Position the Nevada trust business for continued growth by supporting business development, enhancing market presence, and expanding client relationships.
  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of client relationships, including various trust, agency, and IRA accounts.
  • Implement and maintain internal policies, procedures, and programs that support effective trust administration.
  • Ensure compliance with fiduciary, legal, ERISA, IRS, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Represent the organization through active participation in relevant professional, industry, and community organizations and activities.
  • Develop and enhance organizational capabilities that strengthen service delivery, operational effectiveness, and client outcomes.
  • Oversee the review and analysis of complex estate planning documents, including the preparation of follow-up summaries for trustors and beneficiaries.
  • Apply the provisions of the Nevada Probate Code governing trust administration and assess the tax implications of various trust structures.
  • Meet with clients, advisors, and prospective clients regarding estate planning, tax matters, and financial considerations, and serve as the trust officer for designated client relationships.

This is a key leadership opportunity responsible for providing strategic direction, oversight, and guidance for Enterprise Trust in Nevada. The role will help position the Nevada trust business for sustainable growth by strengthening the firm's market presence, expanding business development opportunities, and upholding the highest standards of fiduciary excellence.
The Senior Trust Officer will bring deep expertise in trust administration, fiduciary policies, and applicable regulatory requirements, ensuring all accounts are administered in full compliance with legal, regulatory, and fiduciary standards. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator and trusted partner to management, staff, senior leadership, and clients.
