Job summary

City National Bank seeks a Trust Advisor to identify, evaluate, and onboard fiduciary relationships across trust, investment, and estate planning solutions. You will qualify prospective clients, assess growth potential, and partner with Bankers and Advisors to close opportunities.

You’ll perform initial reviews to ensure alignment with risk appetite and capacity, while delivering comprehensive fiduciary services.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interactions with CNB personnel, clients and external contacts.
• Ability to profile clients with emphasis on generating and retaining business.
• Familiarity with state tax laws, probate and estate planning principles across CA/DE/NV.

Responsibilities

• Regularly meet with Private Bank partners and COIs to develop relationships and educate on CNB fiduciary capabilities.
• Meet revenue goals around sales expectations.
• Lead with advisory, solution-oriented mindset and strong risk awareness.
• Build relationships with Bankers, Financial Advisors and external partners.
• Coordinate with partners and clients virtually or in person as needed.
• Work with attorneys to expand trust brand and market share within the region.
