Job summary

Enbridge is seeking a seasoned professional to lead tribal and stakeholder engagement across the Midwest. You will build relationships with elected leaders, tribal citizens and NGOs, and implement regulatory requirements in a respectful, culturally aware manner.

The role requires 7+ years of Indigenous engagement experience, a related degree, and familiarity with US Tribal history and regulatory landscapes. Travel is frequent, and Enbridge offers a hybrid FlexWork model for suitable roles.

Qualifications

• University degree from a related post-secondary program.
• 7+ years of experience in Indigenous and/or stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of US Tribal history, rights, and cultural protocols.
• Preference for Native American identity.
• Familiarity with government and regulatory requirements.

• Experience in a large public company with multi-region operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee relationships with tribal leaders and engage with partners to develop engagement strategies.
• Implement regulatory requirements in consultation and document outcomes effectively.
• Provide guidance on tribal/cultural protocols to ensure respectful engagement.
• Support field stakeholder engagement with communities, governments and NGOs.
• Develop engagement plans, regional plans, talking points, and budgets reflecting interests of company and Indigenous groups.
