Job summary

Enbridge seeks an experienced professional to lead tribal and stakeholder engagement across Midwest projects and operations. You will build strong relationships with tribal communities, elected leaders, and NGOs while ensuring regulatory requirements are met and engagement plans are executed effectively.

The role requires a university degree and 7+ years of Indigenous/stakeholder engagement experience, with a focus on cultural protocols and government relations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of directly related work experience in Indigenous and/or stakeholder engagement.
• Knowledge of tribal communities, including US Tribal history and rights, cultural protocols and norms.
• Familiarity with government and regulatory requirements and current community dynamics.
• Values of Safety, Integrity, Respect Inclusion and High Performance.
• Experience in a large public company with operations in multiple regions.
• Cross-cultural stakeholder/Indigenous and community engagement experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and cultivate relationships with tribal leaders and stakeholders.
• Implement engagement plans and regulatory requirements in consultations.
• Advise teams on tribal and cultural protocols to guide respectful engagement.
• Collaborate with EHS, Projects, Strategic Projects & Partnerships, and Operations.
• Develop and implement regional engagement plans and budgets reflecting stakeholder interests.
