Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prioritize and delegate case screening for arraignment, plea offers, pretrial and post-trial litigation.
• Coordinate coverage for hearings and trials, including bench and jury trials and appeals.
• Review plea offers prepared by subordinate attorneys.
• Monitor Rule 600 status of cases.
• Prioritize prosecution order considering Rule 600, witness availability, crime severity, victim impact and community considerations.
• Supervise preparation of briefing assignments and communications with victims and witnesses.
• Oversee follow-up investigations and weekly Trial Team meetings.
• Supervise training of new Trial Deputy Prosecutors.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or executive management.
