Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Trial Attorney for workers' compensation claims.
• Juris Doctorate and Bar admission in good standing.
• Excellent written and oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Defends workers' compensation cases.
• Takes depositions and prepares related reports.
• Represents the Company in hearings and conferences; prepares reports.
• Researches and prepares highly complex pleadings for state administrative process (trial level).
• Provides advice and training on case handling strategies to Claims department representatives.
• Performs legal research from advisory to appellate procedures.
• Acts as inter-departmental training seminar leader.
• May assist in training Trial Attorney I and II.
