Job Description

Join the legal frontline and champion the defense for both the insured and the Company! As a Senior Trial Attorney, you'll handle bodily injury, property damage lawsuits, and more, with opportunities for trials, arbitrations, and mediations. You will also provide legal counsel to business clients and coordinate with legal teams. Stay informed about new laws and regulations to ensure our strategies remain effective. Key Responsibilities
  1. Represent insured individuals and the Company in defending bodily injury and property damage lawsuits, subrogation, and Allstate Financial cases.
  2. Prepare for and conduct hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
  3. Present pre- and post-trial motions effectively.
  4. Collaborate with colleagues to resolve calendar conflicts.
  5. Advise business clients on legal matters.
  6. Manage projects and foster teamwork among legal teams.
  7. Monitor and evaluate new laws, regulations, and case law; provide proactive advice to business units; oversee legal representation.
Education
  • Juris Doctorate and active membership in good standing with the Georgia State Bar.
Minimum Requirements
  • At least 3 years of litigation experience or strong litigation skills, including case strategy, legal research, and advocacy, with the ability to handle complex disputes under pressure.
  • First or second chair jury trial experience preferred.
  • Experience with insurance defense is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, LexisNexis (preferred), and internet research.
  • Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff under Lead Counsel.
  • Ability to manage a substantial case load.
  • Willingness to work remotely and travel within the greater Atlanta and Northern Georgia areas.

Compensation

Annual salary ranges from $85,600 to $152,650, depending on experience and qualifications.
