The candidate will serve as first chair in major trials and lead the litigation team, handling complex discovery and high-stakes negotiations with outside counsel.

Ideal applicants will possess a J.D., active California Bar membership, and exemplary written and oral communication skills.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active California Bar membership.
• 10+ years of trial experience with multiple jury verdicts.
• Strong client communication and relationship management.
• Spanish language skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as first chair in major trial efforts, leading the litigation team.
• Develop and refine trial strategies for optimal outcomes.
• Conduct complex legal research to support cases.
• Provide expertise in Arbitration, Coordinated Proceedings, and MDL.
• Interface with outside counsel for high-stakes negotiations.
• Draft and refine motions, oppositions, and related filings.
• Represent the firm in hearings and present motions confidently.
• Depose key witnesses, including PMKs and experts.
• Improve client communication and case management processes.
• Collaborate to develop policies and streamlined procedures.
• Address intricate legal issues and ensure client satisfaction.
• Oversee timely reporting and deadlines.
