Job summary
Abramson Labor Group in Burbank, CA seeks a Senior Trial Attorney to lead designated cases from inception to resolution, handling court appearances, trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations. You will develop litigation strategies, present evidence, and advocate zealously before judges and juries.
You will also mentor associates and staff while collaborating with leadership to strengthen the firm’s litigation practice.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Bar admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
- 5+ years of litigation experience.
- 2+ years of trial experience.
- Strong knowledge of procedural rules (e.g., Federal Rules).
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet strict deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in court trials, hearings, arbitrations, and mediations.
- Develop case strategies and present arguments before judges and juries.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Interview witnesses, gather evidence, and prepare for trial.
- Negotiate settlements and plea agreements when appropriate.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on litigation matters.
- Work collaboratively with legal teams, paralegals, and investigators.
- Stay up to date with changes in laws, regulations, and precedents.
- Manage and supervise junior attorneys and support staff.
- Review and analyze complex employment law documents and contracts.
