Allstate seeks a Senior Trial Attorney to defend insureds in auto, premises, and bodily injury claims, managing cases from inception to resolution, including settlements, arbitrations, mediations, or trials.

You will coordinate with business clients and across the Law and Regulation department, monitor new laws, and provide proactive counsel while working in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proven litigation experience or strong litigation skills with complex disputes.
• First or second chair jury trial experience preferred.
• Insurance defense experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, LexisNexis, and internet research.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration with attorneys, paralegals, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Represents insured individuals and Allstate in defense of bodily injury, property damage, and other insurance defense matters.
• Prepares for and conducts hearings, trials, arbitrations, mediations, and depositions.
• Prepares and presents pre- and post-trial motions.
• Manages calendars and coordinates with legal teams.
• Offers counsel to business clients on day-to-day legal matters.
• Keeps abreast of laws and case law; advises units on impact of new regulations.
