Job summary

Allstate seeks an experienced litigation attorney in New York to represent insured individuals and the Company in bodily injury and property damage lawsuits. You will prepare for hearings, trials, arbitrations and depositions, and work with the Law and Regulation team on regulatory issues.

The role requires a JD and an active NY Bar, with 5+ years of litigation experience and first/second chair trial experience.

Qualifications

Requirements

Juris Doctorate
Active membership in good standing with the New York State Bar
5+ years of litigation experience or strong litigation-type skills

Ability to manage complex disputes and work effectively under pressure
Ability to collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative assistants under the guidance of Lead Counsel
Capacity to manage a substantial case load
Comfortable working in a remote environment
Willingness to travel throughout Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan, and Long Island for court appearances
Background investigation required
