Job summary

loanDepotWire Transfer Specialist position is based in Irvine, CA or Plano, TX with a hybrid schedule requiring two days on-site. You will process domestic wires, research exceptions, and ensure deadlines are met while following policies and federal/state laws.

A strong financial background and experience with Excel/Alteryx/SQL are essential. Responsibilities include reconciling wire activity, assisting customers, and supporting treasury projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics is preferred and a minimum of five (5) + years of related work experience.
• Experience in the Mortgage industry, Banking background preferred.
• Experience with advanced Excel, Alteryx, or SQL is required.

Responsibilities

• Process incoming and outgoing domestic settlement wires through applicable bank systems daily in accordance with all wire transfer deadlines.
• Complies with and stays abreast of all policies and procedures, federal and state laws applicable to the job.
• Researches and resolves inquiries and exceptions as needed.
• Provides support and addresses internal and external customer inquiries/issues related to wire transfers.
• Reconciles and tracks all wire activity.
• Functions effectively within a fast-paced team-oriented environment
• Identifies opportunities to enhance and improve controls within Treasury
• Provides support and analysis to treasury projects through planning, reporting, and testing.
• Partners with management to develop efficient and effective corrective action plans and influence improvements of the system of internal controls.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.
