Job summary

City of South Fulton seeks a seasoned leader to oversee Revenue, Debt Management and Investments. You will supervise division staff, ensure accurate revenue recognition, and direct cash management aligned with policy. You’ll provide strategic financial leadership to optimize investments and city liquidity.

The role requires GAAP expertise, strong leadership, and the ability to report to executive leadership and council, with focus on compliance and robust controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or comparable degree; CPA preferred.
• Minimum five years’ professional experience in government finance or equivalent.
• Experience supervising and developing staff in finance or treasury functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Revenue, Debt Management and Investments Division and supervise staff.
• Oversee cash management, investment decisions, and compliance with policy requirements.
• Prepare financial reports and manage budget anticipations and variances.
• Monitor revenue collection efforts and optimize accounts receivable processes.
• Direct investment programs for city portfolios and external trustees.
